Research Study

The Access Wall Street Program has three major components. The first three weeks are spent developing the student's understanding the basics of the stock market. Activities challenge the students to apply their understanding of fundamental value to stock analysis. Next, students form teams and begin building a simulated stock portfolio. The last month of the program is dedicated to researching and making a final presentation of a publicly traded company to a panel of business executives.
Youth Enrichment Initiative
The Youth Enrichment Initiative, a program of El Nido Family Centers, is a series of workshops in the fields of Finance, Entertainment and Community Service. In the Entertainment Workshops the students learn digital photography, movie making, writing and acting for stage, website design and music video production. The financial workshops teach students about investing in the stock market and entrepreneurship while students in the Community Action class engages in local environmental and community projects.
